The Change Indicator has been validated on the majority of TENA products, such as TENA ProSkin Super and Ultra Briefs, TENA Flex Briefs, and TENA Underwear. The products should have a textile-like outer lining and have an absorbent core longer than 40 cm. The system has been validated for use with TENA products only.

The expected lifetime is 2 years for the transmitter and 12 weeks for sensor strips and batteries after the first use.

Sensor strips, transmitter and batteries are electronic waste and should be disposed of according to local regulations.
